“Those who like their blues raw and raucous will find much to enjoy here.” Blues Matters! Magazine (UK)
This trio packs a huge sound in a tiny package. They dug up the guitars of old blues legends like John Lee Hooker and R.L. Burnside, threw them into a white hot furnace and forged them into a burning cocktail of rooted blues rock. Raw, visceral sounds with a pounding rhythm, grooving guitars and haunting harmonica. Get revved up and be prepared to boogie all night!
Unlike their French sounding name might suggest, they hail from the sandy shores of the Dutch Delta, where finger picking is still considered to be an honorable pastime. On stage, the devil is on their tails, enticing their audience to shake their hips in a wholly indecent manner.
In 2018, they released their first EP THE FACTORY TAPES. Le Garage supported their album with an opening tour for Dutch rock giants Claw Boys Claw. They gigged the BeNeLux and played alongside genre favorites like Daddy Long Legs, Scott H. Biram, Robert Finley and Reverend Peyton. For their second EP BOUGIE (2020), they travelled down to the cold and salty shores of the North Sea to record a vibrant album in a single eight hour recording session in one of their favorite juke joints ’t Schallemaaj. The album received strong reviews from leading blues magazines like Blues Matters! (UK).
Their third studio-album was hatched in the winter of 2024. Guided by producer Bram Dewachter, Le Garage returned to their Delta roots and crafted FINGERNAILS, their most compelling studio recording yet. Immediately approved by Joe Bonamassa, who put the singles ‘Fingernails’ and ‘Flow’ on his Cutting Edge Blues playlist. Three people, big sounds: ‘Le Garage understand the dynamics of electrified blues-rock better than most’ (Alt77).
